So, You’re Off Today?

I have never minded working on these days when a large number of people are off, but having the day off from work means more time to focus on yourself, including errands, relaxation time, and working out.  Use the time wisely, do something great for your body.  

Now if you are not one of the fortunate people to be in a warm"er" beautiful environment, there is still hope.  Being in the gym surrounded by people pushing themselves and those relieving stress, can be one of the most uplifting environments. I LOVE going in and getting my cardio on!  As simple as it sounds, it is a fantastic way to gather your thoughts and overcome any pent up stress.  Walking on the treadmill for 30 mins, running for 30 mins, hopping on the elliptical for 30 mins, or jumping rope, box jumps, burpees….you get the hint.  ANYTHING is good!  I want you to be able to enjoy the time off, if that is the case, so don't feel like it's all or nothing today.  It's more like something over nothing today.  

Get moving, stay focused, and don't let the holiday turn into a "off-my-goal" day.
