It’s Time For a Double Day!

Ok, I know what you're saying, how am I supposed to do a double day when I can barely get in a single day?  I am not blind to the fact that most schedules are packed with work, family, social events, and just plain living.  BUT…..I have an answer and I don't care how busy you are, if your health is important to you (and it should be), then you should be willing to give it a try.  

There is no way you should do double days everyday!  Not even 5 days per week.  The objective is to fit in shorter workouts into your busy day.  Here is an example:  


Morning workout (30 minutes) 

Run 2 minute/Walk 1 min, increasing the running speed each interval


Afternoon/Evening Workout (1 Hour)

Warm up: 10 mins walking/elliptical/bike/row

Workout: 15 push ups, 15 squats, 15 plank push ups, 15 lunges(each leg) *5 Rounds*

Finish: Stretching/Cool down cardio


This way you get in your regular workout AND add in another 30 minutes that could have you burning around 200 calories!!  With 2 added 30 minute interval workouts, that can lead to an extra 400 calories per week!  Or another added 1/2 lb loss per month on top of your total weight loss.
