Take a Rest Day

Sine this is the first Sunday post vacation, I am feeling back in the swing of things.  The next 6 weeks, it’s on!  Let the training begin!  Most people know they need to take a “rest” day but few know what they can really do to stay active.  Just because it’s a rest day doesn’t mean sit around and do nothing all day.  Those who are athletes or are just active regularly, know that it means go for a walk or d some other type of lower intensity exercise.  It for sure doesn’t mean go for a PR on your squat!  So today, take a deep breath and enjoy the day…….but keep moving!
