Through reading and my coach I’ve learned a very important point.  Focusing on my major lifts, the bench, the deadlift, and the squat, is VERY important.  One thing most people forget or don’t realize, is that those ancillary muscles are just as important and could be the difference between failure and a new PR on your lift.  For example, is the bench press you weaker lift? (like me)  Well, start focusing on lat strength, tricep strength, shoulders, upper back.  ALL super important to making that competition lift the best yet!
