Has the New Year Kicked Your Butt Yet?

I was pleasantly surprised to find that most people who have shuffled into the gym ONLY as of January 1st, are still around and going strong!  How is your progress coming along?  I only worry that those who have newly entered the workout scene again, may be at the point where no results = no motivation= no continuation .  I’m going to try not to let it happen. 

A few tips to keep your workouts fun and dynamic.  A) Circuits are a girl’s (or guy’s) best friend.  Not only do they get your heart rate up more AND keep it changing, but they are great for maximizing your time at the gym and conditioning your body.  B) Don’t try to do too much!  It’s still early, push yourself but don’t think you can squat 200lbs for 10 reps on your first day! C) Change it up.  Make sure you don’t get stuck in a routine that conditions your body to perform the same 5 exercises perfectly!  How will this help you?  It won’t!
